Welcome!
When
time and circumstances permit, please join us on Sunday at 10 a.m. —any
Sunday— for our weekly service of worship.
We offer some lighthearted reassurance for newcomers in our
parish's online Guide for Beginners.
Baptized
Christians of all denominations and faith backgrounds are
welcome to receive Communion with us.
Afterwards, we linger for an informal cup of coffee
or tea
(or
some juice), a sweet treat — and the joy of meeting new people. You
will be welcomed in this post-service gathering in the Lower
Hall—whether
you are passing through or are regularly in the Sandy Hill
neighbourhood.
You are invited to sign our guest book,
which is at the
back of the church. If you are interested in the support we can offer
you as a guest or as a newcomer, or if you are
seeking baptism, you are cordially invited to speak with the Rector or
a greeter. To join our parish, please fill out a "blue card",
or print and fill out this
form, for the church office records.
We look forward
to sharing the Peace of Christ with you.
To find us:
We are on the corner of Laurier
Ave. E. at Chapel St. in Sandy Hill, five
blocks east of the University of Ottawa (see map below). We are close to the
Queensway's Nicholas St. exit. OC Transpo buses #5 and 316 stop at the
door.
For more details or
transportation advice, call our office at (613) 234-1686
For the Sunday
service at 10, the
main doors to the church are open and easy to find, up the broad
stairway under the bell-tower (see picture at upper left).
For
the
Chapel, Church Office, or Bate Hall,
enter
through the doors labelled 317 Chapel
St. (see picture at right). From there, the Chapel is left and down;
the Office and
Bate Hall (our parish hall) are to the right and up.
