Saints' Support: Adult Education
Our Sunday
morning services, with their readings, explanations and sermons are the
highest-profile form of adult education at All Saints'. Mutual education
naturally
continues for us in the fellowship following the service as
we informally share our own perspectives and life experiences with each
other. These discussions typically continue as part of the life of
fellowship in many of the events at All Saints'.
There
are also events and programmes organized at All Saints' aimed at adult
christian education and development. Bible study, special speakers,
lenten study courses, book sharing, movie nights, parish visioning -
empower our minds and enrich our spirits.
Scripture, tradition and new knowledge - as Anglicans, we
try to balance all three resources. Big questions find answers that are
both comforting and challenging, in directions often neglected by
secular society.
Everyone
is welcomed into our fellowship to worship and to study with us—at any
level— as we explore scripture, tradition and new knowledge. Your
brain, with all its insights and doubts, is a welcome participant in
all our gatherings.
